Brussels, 26 May 2026 – At a time of “polycrisis”, two Belgian experts join their respective forces and create Sharp Sense, a new reputation agency specialising in sensitive and complex contexts. Leveraging their extensive experience in highly regulated sectors, the two founders support organisations both proactively and in times of crisis; they analyse complex issues, structure communications, drive real impact and restore their capacity to act.
A biased documentary, a strike, a CEO whose position is questioned, a poorly explained merger, rumors of mismanagement, or even a locally contested project can now permanently affect an organisation's reputation and ability to act. Based in Belgium, Sharp Sense works closely with C-levels, executive committees, and communications directors facing these high-exposure situations.
"We have often seen management teams driven by good intentions but paralyzed when it comes to taking action: fear of saying the wrong thing, internal hesitation, messages being constantly reworked, difficulty aligning stakeholders, or struggling to take a stand under pressure. In these moments, communication becomes as much a governance issue as an image issue," says Céline Faidherbe. "Our role is to restore clarity, alignment, and the capacity to act in these sensitive contexts."
An organisation's legitimacy cannot be built in silos
A media sequence or a clumsy public statement can become viral in a matter of hours today. Organisations must be able to quickly align decisions, leadership posture, and internal and external communications to preserve their credibility and capacity to act. Sharp Sense steps in precisely in these contexts where governance and communication issues must be handled together.
However, while crises often reveal an organisation's flaws, Sharp Sense goes well beyond that framework.
"Reflecting our baseline 'Building Organic Legitimacy', Sharp Sense accompanies organisations in building natural, coherent, and credible legitimacy during times of crisis, but also, and above all, ahead of them. Whether it's steering internal communication during profound transformations, managing day-to-day media relations, organising dialogue with stakeholders, or structuring executive posture, the goal is to sustainably align what the organisation decides, communicates, and implements on the ground," explains Marielle Rogie. "Organisations can no longer build their reputation in silos. To continue operating and preserve their impact, their legitimacy must now hold together as a whole. That is why we operate daily across the entire communication chain."
Decades of expertise in industries where there is no margin for error
The two founders bring together more than 40 years of experience in highly exposed and regulated sectors: nuclear (FANC, Nuclear Forum, SCK-CEN), healthcare (e.g., CHU de Liège, child protection...), mobility (e.g., Brussels Airport, LETEC, Liège Airport, STIB, BSCA...), or energy and defence. They have supported organisations facing reputational crises, restructuring, social tensions, sensitive projects, or transformations requiring strong internal and external buy-in.
Sharp Sense provides a comprehensive range of specialised services, such as:
- Crisis communication management and preparedness;
- Internal communication and change management support;
- Media relations, influence, and external communication;• Stakeholder and local resident management;
- Communication and reputation audits;
- Media training and executive coaching.
A natural complementarity with the Bright ecosystem
Another unique feature of Sharp Sense is that it is joining the Bright ecosystem, the House of Experts Agencies, right from its launch. Bright is already a shareholder in Hungry Minds (creative agency) and KingSize (branding studio). This proximity will ensure, depending on needs, seamless continuity between strategic thinking, brand platform, and communication platform.
Through this commitment, the founding shareholders of Bright — Emmanuel Briard, Stéphane Henry, and Damien Ronday — are investing in the capital of Sharp Sense.
"Sharp Sense addresses a reality experienced by many organisations. Reputational issues have become more complex and fast-moving. The expertise developed by Céline Faidherbe and Marielle Rogie naturally complements our ecosystem. Together, we can support organisations across the entire chain, from strategic reflection to the implementation of communications capable of producing a real and consistent impact on the ground," says Emmanuel Briard, CEO of Bright.
